Saltash
The waterside town of Saltash is the first town that you come to after crossing the Tamar Bridge from Plymouth and is know locally as the Gateway to Cornwall. The vibrant and friendly town is a
mixture of historic buildings blending in with newer developments.
The town has a busy shopping centre with traditional shops, supermarkets and for more serious shopping Plymouth is on the doorstep. As you would expect there are excellent recreational, educational and Health Service facilities.
Beyond Saltash there are the many quaint villages and hamlets of South East Cornwall. The area is a haven for those who love the countryside and of Course South East Cornwall boasts some of the finest coastal villages and beaches in Cornwall.
